Louis Junior Slavey, 83, went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. He was born in West Virginia and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Civil Service at Fort Eustis.

Survivors include his daughter, Wendy K. Morgan; two grandchildren, Michelle and Nickolas; and a step-son, Ben Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie.

Services will be private.
