On June 22, 2012 Milton Frame was called Home to be with Jesus Christ. He was born on March 3, 1923 to Eva and Goff Frame in Braxton County, WV, where he lived until entering the Navy at age 18. He served his country during W.W.II in the South Pacific, then returned to the States to hold a variety of jobs in WV, MD and OH. He married his beloved wife Helen in 1953. They lived in OH until she passed away in 1963. He moved to Newport News and raised two children there while working in Civil Service at Ft. Eustis. He took early retirement and returned to WV to care for his elderly parents and brother until they passed. He then returned to Newport News to be close to his children.
Milton was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church. He lived his life as a devoted husband and father. He was a friend to many and will be remembered as a hard working, good natured, humorous and tender hearted man and will be deeply missed by many, however, those in Christ’s family look forward to seeing him again soon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, loving wife, Helen Keith Frame, stepdaughter, Sandra Stout and granddaughter, Samantha Stone.
He leaves behind his daughter, Cindy Frame Stone (Robert), his son, Darrel Stephen Frame (Cathy), son-in-law, Harold Stout; grandchildren, Abigail and Rebekah Frame, Brian Stout and Diane Smith; brothers, George and Homer Frame; sister, Mary Krueger; as well as great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home.
